Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include
- Greet customers and make them feel welcome by establishing a friendly and supportive environment
- Communicate with customers about their wants and needs, recommend and locate relevant merchandise, and call other stores or place special orders to get desired merchandise
- Deliver accurate product pricing, labels, and placement, and arrange merchandise displays to promote sales
- Recognize security risks and know company security practices to handle
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and good-looking store by emptying trash cans, mopping floors, and wiping down checkout counter areas
- Execute all tasks assigned by the team leader or manager diligently, on schedule, and to the highest standard
- Work with team members to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets
- Participate in meetings and voice concerns as well as suggestions for improvement
- Answer or escalate concerns and queries from clients or other stakeholders
- Complete a range of administrative tasks
- Maintain a high level of professionalism while representing the company
- Expand your skills by attending workshops and training sessions
- Manage your time effectively by prioritizing urgent tasks
- Assist the manager or team leader as required
