Managing Procurement of materials required for EPC projects like Cables, Transformers, Structures, and Conductors, etc. for Construction of Sub-Stations & Transmission lines.
- Sourcing potential vendors in compliance with the company policies and procedures; analyzing floats available for Procurement and develop the vendors so as to get the supply of the materials at right time and at competitive prices.
- Co-ordination and Negotiation with vendors for better prices, terms, conditions to create ‘win-win’ situation and developed a healthy competitive environment for vendors.
- Interacting with single branch vendors, users, transporters, liaison authorities etc. Expediting requirements of user departments, materials from vendors and transporters.
- Implementing cost reduction measures such as alternate sourcing, Import materials substitution, and long-term purchase contracts, Working Capital Improvements & in Supply Chain to maintain overall operational efficiency.
