Job Summary

As the Branch Manager-Rural, you will be responsible for managing the overall operations of our branch in Kaithal, Haryana. You will lead a team of sales and service staff to achieve business targets and provide excellent customer service. You will also be responsible for promoting and selling our rural banking products and services to meet the financial needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the branch, including cash management, customer service, and compliance with bank policies and procedures
• Lead and motivate a team of sales and service staff to achieve business targets and provide exceptional customer service
• Develop and implement strategies to promote and sell rural banking products and services to meet the financial needs of customers in the assigned region
• Monitor and analyze branch performance and take corrective actions to achieve targets
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers to increase business opportunities
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements
• Conduct regular training and development programs for branch staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
• Collaborate with other departments to improve overall branch performance and customer satisfaction
• Represent the bank at community events and build a strong presence in the local market
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in branch management in a rural setting
• Strong understanding of rural banking products and services
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a team
• Knowledge of local market and customer needs
• Proficient in MS Office and banking software
• Willingness to travel within the assigned region
