Oversee daily operations of the stores and warehouse for the Valve manufacturing unit, ensuring optimal inventory levels and timely material availability.
Develop and implement strategies for inventory control, cost reduction, and efficient materials handling.
Lead a team of storekeepers and warehouse staff, providing training, guidance, and performance management.
Collaborate closely with production, procurement, and supply chain teams to align inventory processes with production schedules and demand forecasts.
Maintain accurate records and ensure all materials are tracked efficiently through the ERP system.
Drive process improvements to optimize space utilization, reduce lead times, and minimize stock discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Prepare regular reports on inventory levels, material consumption, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Manage vendor relationships for storage-related services and supplies as needed.
Knowledge in making modernised stores setup for operational efficiency, Digitalization & Continual improvements (Improvement Orientation)
