Key Responsibilities
- Analyze freight costs, negotiate rates, and ensure competitive pricing for customers
- Setting rates for various ocean freight services and ensuring they are competitive and profitable.
- Support operational team with timely and most competitive freight requirements
- Monitor process performance, define corrective and preventive actions, and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Ensure all pricing activities comply with safety, legal, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain relationships with shipping liners, related vendors, and agencies to support smooth business operations.
- Adhere to organizational ethics, compliance policies, and QHSES requirements.
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in freight forwarding pricing.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Thorough knowledge of shipping services all over globe
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to optimize operations and improve profitability.
- Good communication (cross-functional and cross-cultural)
