Key Responsibilities
- Write and test Python code for embedded systems, automation, and calibration
- Assist in bringing up new hardware and sensors for Barsys X
- Build and improve internal tools for logging, monitoring, and device control
- Collaborate with senior engineers to understand hardware control loops and real-time programming
- Help create simulation environments to test before real-world deployment
- Document your work and participate in code reviews
- Strong programming skills in Python (C/C++ a bonus)
- Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms)
- Curiosity about hardware-software systems, sensors, motors, or embedded programming
- Familiarity with Linux, Git, and basic debugging
- Recent graduate (or final-year student) from a top engineering school (IIT, NIT, BITS, IIIT, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn from a fast-paced team
- Projects involving Raspberry Pi, Arduino, or other embedded systems
- Experience with robotics competitions, hackathons, or open-source contributions
- Passion for building things that move, automate, or interact physically
- Exposure to AI, LLMs, or computer vision is a plus but not required
- Mentorship from senior engineers working on global hardware products
- Real exposure to how consumer robotics products are built from the ground up
