IDFC FIRST Bank is a leading financial institution in India, committed to providing innovative and customer-centric banking solutions. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Branch Sales Manager for our Education Institution Loan (EIL) division in Chandigarh, Punjab.

As the Branch Sales Manager - EIL, you will be responsible for driving the sales and business development activities for our EIL products in the assigned region. You will be a key member of the Retail Banking team and will report directly to the Regional Sales Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business targets for EIL products in the assigned region
  • Identify potential customers and build strong relationships with education institutions, including schools, colleges, and universities
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and stay updated on industry trends
  • Collaborate with the product team to develop and launch new EIL products and services
  • Train and mentor the sales team to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively sell EIL products
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance and provide regular reports to the Regional Sales Manager
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal policies and procedures
  • Represent the bank at industry events and conferences to promote our EIL products and services

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and business development, preferably in the banking or financial services industry
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
  • Strong understanding of the education sector and its financial needs
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM software
  • Knowledge of local market and regulatory requirements
