Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Student Engagement Counsellor to guide prospective students and their families through our academic offerings, ensuring they make informed decisions about their educational paths.
Key Responsibilities:
- Student Engagement: Serve as the primary contact for prospective students and their families, providing detailed information about our programs, admission criteria, and campus life.
- Counseling: Advise students on application procedures, financial aid options, and scholarship opportunities, tailoring guidance to their individual needs and aspirations.
- Application Review: Assess student applications and supporting documents to determine eligibility for admission, ensuring a fair and thorough evaluation process.
- Event Coordination: Organize and participate in recruitment events, such as campus tours, webinars, and informational sessions, to promote PhysicsWallah's offerings.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate records of student interactions and application statuses using our admissions database, facilitating efficient tracking and follow-up.
- Collaboration: Work closely with academic departments, financial aid teams, and other stakeholders to provide comprehensive support to students throughout the admissions process.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and best practices in admissions and enrollment management to continually enhance our counseling services.
- Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, marketing, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in admissions, recruitment, student services, or counseling.
- Fluency in Kannada, Hindi, and English is mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse audiences.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with admissions software.
- A proactive and empathetic approach, capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
