Backend Engineer

Job Purpose

Able to manage efficient interchange of data between the server and users. The primary focus will be the development and maintenance of server-side logic, the design and management of databases, and ensuring high performance, scalability, and responsiveness of the application

Responsibilities

• Develop the core backend services, APIs, and integration with the headless CMS
• Implement multi-tenancy, user management, and content distribution logic
• Handle media uploads, video transcoding (for 4K content), and content play order
  
  

Skills

• Proficiency in backend skills (Node JS, Socket.IO, Mysql , Postgres , Docker)
• Experience with cloud Services like AWS , DIgital Ocean
• Good to have - MQTT , Firebase / Supabase
• Python - Good to have / Not :
• Educational Background : Bachelors degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
• 4+ years of backend development required
• Demonstrable experience in web application development with expertise in Node.js and express.js
• Knowledge of database technologies and agile development methodologies
• Understanding of microservices architecture and Docker
• Excellent problem-solving and management skills
