Role/ Job Title: Production Engineer

Function/ Department: Information Technology

Job Purpose

The Production Engineer is responsible for implementation, optimizing processes and system to ensure efficient and effective application support. He will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas of improvement and identify and resolve issues and ensure smooth production operations.

Roles & Responsibilities

• The candidate should be confident and have good communication skills.
• Analyse and optimise production workflows and processes.
• Troubleshoot production issues, good knowledge of LINUX OS.
• Develop and maintain documentation of production processes and procedures.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions. Problem solving skills
• Experience in Trade Finance Application / Supply chain management.
• Hands-on in Technologies like Oracle Database, PL/SQL, Java, MQ
• Fair understanding with WebLogic, Apache Services, Linux.
• 3 Years of Application support experience.
• Strong LINUX knowledge.
• Excellent problem solving, analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to work in a highly cross functional environment.
• Deployment experience.
• Good patching knowledge.
• Basic network knowledge.
• Fair Knowledge on Oracle Database, SQL, PL/SQL, Java, Web Server, App Server, Linux, Windows Server.
  
  

Education Qualification

Graduation: Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) / Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) / Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA)

Post-Graduation: Master of Science (M.Sc) /Master of Technology (M.Tech) / Master of Computer Applications (MCA)

Experience: 2-5 years
