Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Management : Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team of software engineers, QA engineers, and designers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Project Planning & Execution : Define project scope, develop detailed project plans, establish timelines, allocate resources effectively, and manage project budgets.
  • Technical Guidance & Oversight : Provide strong technical guidance and oversight to the development team, ensuring adherence to best practices, architectural standards, and quality guidelines.
  • Stakeholder Communication : Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including product managers, designers, and customers, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and progress.
  • Quality Assurance : Implement and enforce rigorous quality assurance processes to ensure all delivered software and mobile applications meet high-quality standards and are thoroughly tested.
  • Process Improvement : Continuously evaluate and improve delivery processes, methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.), and tools to enhance efficiency, predictability, and quality.
  • Resource Management : Allocate resources (personnel, tools, budget) effectively across projects to ensure successful and optimized project delivery.
  • Risk Management : Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks and issues that could impact project delivery timelines, budget, or quality.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting : Track key project metrics, analyze performance, and provide regular reports to senior management on delivery status and outcomes.
  • Vendor Management (If Applicable) : Manage relationships with any external vendors or partners involved in the delivery process.
  • Client Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are understood and met throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Development delivery, with demonstrable leadership experience. Likely 8-15+ years.
  • Strong technical background with hands-on experience in software and mobile application development technologies and methodologies.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex software and mobile app projects on time, within budget, and with high quality.
  • Excellent project management skills, including planning, execution, monitoring, and controlling projects.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and guide technical teams.
  • Exceptional communication (both written and verbal), presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve technical and project-related issues.
  • Experience working with various development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
  • Familiarity with project management tools and software.
  • Strong client management and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
