The Manager SAP HR SME is responsible for liaising with the HR & Payroll business for their business needs, strategy, development, configuration, testing, implementation, upgrades, enhancements and integration of all human resource information systems.
Roles and Responsibilities :
• Manages full life cycle HRIS projects and the associated project planning.• Recommend system design and configuration approaches to best meet current and future strategic HR needs.• Research costs and vendors, manage the RFP and contract renewal processes.• Maintain systems to ensure continued operations and reporting efficiency and resolves application issues.• Ensures data integrity, system security and testing of system changes.• Design and generates queries, reports and dashboards• Serves as liaison between users, IT, HR department and IT Service providers.• Research new technologies and system solutions and keeps management informed.• Work with the end users and business owners to map SAP HCM/Payroll/SF standard processes to the business needs of the client• Manage escalations related to HR applications support.• Change Request (CR) feasibility and effort estimate, and participation in Change Control Board activities.
- Approve Design Changes from the IT perspective. Act as solution architect for business process implementation
- Assist the business users with the SAP functionality and participate in the blueprinting of business processes and system integration challenges.
- Ensure IT user base is effectively trained and positioned to use all available system functionalities
Functional Expertise
• 8 to 12 years of HRIS and Payroll management experience with domain knowledge.• Experience managing or supervising employees/contractors• Experience implementing and administering systems: specific experience with systems may include but not be limited to SAP HCM, Payroll, SF or other Cloud HCM solutions• Experience in quantitative HRIS analysis with demonstrated aptitude in data analytics, queries, metrics, reporting and business process analysis• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook and basic understanding of Java• Strong technical background in interfaces.• Experience in both project implementation and production support.
