Job Overview:
The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of human resources practices and processes, with a strong focus on employee relations and acting as a strategic HR Business Partner (HRBP) to the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, and new hire onboarding.
- Partner with department heads to understand staffing needs and assist with talent acquisition.
- Develop and implement strategies to attract top talent for the organization.
- Act as the first point of contact for employee concerns and grievances, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Advise managers and employees on performance issues, conflict resolution, and communication strategies.
- Manage and resolve workplace conflicts, ensuring fair treatment of all employees.
- Foster a positive working environment by promoting open communication, trust, and mutual respect.
- Ensure effective employee engagement by organizing feedback sessions, surveys, and maintaining an open-door policy.
- Monitor employee morale and well-being, implementing strategies to enhance job satisfaction and retention.
- Partner with department heads and senior leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives.
- Provide strategic HR advice to line managers to address organizational challenges, improve team performance, and build a strong company culture.
- Collaborate with leadership in workforce planning, organizational development, and succession planning.
- Support leaders in managing change, building leadership capabilities, and addressing employee performance challenges.
- Oversee the compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and compliance.
- Develop initiatives to promote employee engagement, well-being, and satisfaction.
- Implement retention strategies and track turnover, addressing the root causes where needed.
- Organize team-building activities, recognition programs, and other events to enhance the employee experience.
- Work with senior leadership to align HR strategies with organizational goals.
- Contribute to workforce planning and the development of organizational structures.
- Promote company culture and values within the workforce.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5-9 years of experience in Human Resources.
- Strong experience in employee relations and conflict resolution.
- Experience as a strategic HRBP with a demonstrated ability to partner with business leaders.
- Knowledge of HR best practices and the ability to manage complex employee issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in HR software
