Job Purpose
The HR Assistant (On Contract) will primarily support talent acquisition operations, starting from candidate selection through to their onboarding process. This role involves tasks such as collecting documents from selected candidates, assisting with the preparation of offer letters and appointment letters, coordinating medical check-ups, creating candidate profiles in Workday, completing pre-joining formalities, organizing orientation sessions for new hires, ensuring compliance following their start dates, and storing relevant data on the server. While these are the main responsibilities, the position also requires support for ad-hoc operational and other HR activities based on business needs.

HSE Responsibilities
Responsible for ensuring safety of self and others at site. Prevent damage of equipment and assets Responsible for following all safety signs/procedures/ safe working practices Responsible for using appropriate PPE’s Responsible for participating in mock drills. Entitled to refuse any to undertake any activity considered unsafe. Responsible for filling up of hazard observation card, wherever hazard has been noticed at site. Responsible for safe housekeeping of his work place. To stop any operation that is deemed unsafe To be able to operate fire extinguisher in case of fire To report an incident as soon as possible to immediate supervisor and HSE manager To complete HSE trainings as instructed to do so.

Key Responsibilities

- Organize and maintain personnel records Keep employee records up-to-date and organized.
- Update internal databases Record sick or maternity leave, and other employee data.
- Prepare HR documents Create employment contracts, new hire guides, and other HR-related documents.
- Revise company policies Ensure policies are current and compliant with labor laws.
- Liaise with external partners Work with compliance vendors and other external partners.
- Create reports and presentations Generate regular reports on HR metrics like turnover rates.
- Assist payroll department Provide relevant employee information for payroll processing.
- Participate in HR projects Help organize events like job fairs and training sessions.
- Onboarding
- Arrange onboarding and induction program for all new joiners.
- Create employee profiles on Workday.
- Coordinate with selected candidates for medical check-ups and maintain their medical fitness report.
- Collaborate with all key stakeholders and organize new hire orientation sessions.
- Maintain attendance records of all the basic and departmental inductions
- Ensure a seamless transition for new employees by addressing their queries and facilitating their integration into the organization.
- Ensure that related employee related data is maintained in the database.
- The HR administrator collaborates closely with the Local HR Team members, HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition Team, and Global Centers of Excellence (such as Reward and HR Systems) to efficiently deliver HR services and optimize HR processes.
- Experience in handling administrative tasks and coordinating activities
- Strong time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A positive and proactive attitude.
