Who You Will Work With
The Healthcare Practice is responsible for building and commercializing intellectual property, creating marketing collateral and events, providing client delivery support to our Bain teams and clients, and running our internal practice operations. The practice includes the Pharmaceuticals, Medical Technology and Payer, Provider, Services sectors.
What You’ll Do
The EMEA/APAC Healthcare Regional Operations Practice Manager is responsible for supporting the EMEA and APAC Practice Leaders execute on the regional strategy for the practice, including engaging regional affiliates and experts and supporting the regional client enablement agendas. This will include being actively involved in managing the regional interlocks, understanding regional and local expertise, providing input on staffing where needed, and serving as a resource for proposals and client development for priority accounts.

Essential Functions
Support Regional Practice Leaders (40% APAC, 40% EMEA)
- Thought partner on interlocks, including setting meetings with capability teams to set goals and track progress
- Provide input to global strategy, 3-year plan and budget
- In coordination with Global Strategy and Operations team, set agenda and prepare materials for RMP meetings and regional commercial meetings; work closely with sector teams on content required
- Manage general consulting affiliate, and expert consulting, engagement; understand regional expertise to inform staffing recommendations and identify gaps to be filled by external advisors
- Onboard senior outside hires
- Provide input into HLAs for regional affiliates
- Support client development agenda and materials for priority accounts in the region as part of the client team (i30s or other, in coordination with those covered by sector team members)
- Feed materials to sector teams and capabilities, on specific interlocks, from client development and proposals, that have commercial traction/resonate with clients
- ‘Take the pen’ on proposals in region
- Collect best practices in regional wins, and lessons learned from losses
- Customize sales plays and collateral for the region/local markets
Education

Required
- Current or recent Bain consulting experience at the consultant or manager level, or the equivalent at another consulting company
- Digital programs or projects work experience, including technology know-how
