Job Overview: The Project Manager will take complete ownership of assigned projects from the moment of requisition to final delivery. This includes coordinating with cross-functional teams, tracking BOQs, ensuring material availability, driving timelines, managing vendor follow-ups, and achieving seamless execution. The role demands excellent planning, cross-functional collaboration, project risk management, and customer-centric delivery. You will be the single point of accountability for ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and as per defined SLAs – maintaining high levels of efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning & Requisition Coordination: The Project Manager will initiate detailed project plans based on requisitions received from internal stakeholders or clients. This involves understanding technical specifications, Bill of Quantities (BOQs), delivery timelines, and compliance requirements, while aligning priorities with leadership and sales.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination & Material Planning: You will collaborate with Purchase, SCM, Warehouse, and Import-Export teams to ensure end-to-end material readiness and availability. Active participation in weekly SCM and project meetings is crucial to avoid gaps and delays.
  • Project Execution & Timeline Tracking: Responsible for managing and monitoring project milestones from procurement to dispatch. This includes raising alerts in case of deviations, initiating corrective action, and driving accountability across departments to meet deadlines.
  • Vendor Management & Follow-Up: Coordinate directly with vendors and suppliers for timely procurement and delivery of items. Ensure proper documentation, quality checks, and logistics planning are in place while resolving any delivery or quality issues swiftly.
  • Delivery Scheduling & Coordination: Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of materials as per project SLAs. Work closely with the warehouse and logistics team to align shipments with client timelines, handle project packaging requirements, and confirm final delivery through proof of delivery (POD) systems.
  • Client Communication & Progress Reporting: Act as the point of contact for internal/external stakeholders on project progress, changes in schedules, or any bottlenecks. Provide periodic progress reports, highlight critical risks, and ensure client expectations are proactively managed.
  • Documentation, Compliance & Closure: Ensure all documentation related to procurement, dispatches, delivery notes, and final invoices are complete and submitted. Lead project closure processes, take client feedback, and conduct post-project analysis for improvement.
