Area Sales Manager - Tamil Nadu

About this Position You will be responsible for setting up the new ACC (Adhesive for consumers & craftsman) SBU in Chennai/Coimbatore and be the pioneer is setting up the distribution chain, recruit and train new team of sales and marketing executives, map the hardware, plywood, sanitary, etc. retail universe in the city.

What You´ll Do

• You will establish the sales & marketing process in conjunction with the sales head
• You will set up the field marketing team, lead the BTL initiatives and will be responsible for consumer/end-user conversion
• Develop strong win-win partnerships with channel and trade partners, including creating joint business plans with a medium to long-term view
• Coach, skill, guide and inspire a team to implement the agenda, achieve stretch goals and drive best in class execution
  
  

What makes you a good fit

• Should have minimum 5 years work experience in driving front line sales team
• Any Graduate, MBA is preferred
• Complete geographic knowledge of the city of Chennai & Coimbatore
• Language skills (English, Tamil & Hindi)
• Excellent understanding of distribution concepts, ability to put systems & process in place as per the market needs
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including influencing, negotiation and communications skills to effectively manage stakeholder relationships across teams; high on energy and driven
• Proven track record of strong execution, systematic planning, commercial acumen and critical thinking
• Start-up mentality and ability to work in cross-functional teams internally to drive rapid growth
