Job Description Summary

We are looking for Power BI developer. You will be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full end-to-end delivery of effective solution. As a Power BI developer, you should be good in data modeling, visualization and communicating the solution with stakeholder. Should also be familiar with the Agile methodology and processes.

TO SUCCEED IN THE ROLE, YOU SHOULD HAVE:

• Key Responsibilities:
• Gather reporting requirements from various stakeholders, design the solution, Analyze the source data and deliver the reports/dashboard in timely manner.
• Using power BI desktop for developing dashboards, reports and KPI’s.
• Extracting various data sources and connecting, importing, and transforming data for Business Intelligence.
• Understanding the security requirements and implementing object and row-level security on data.
• Creating data gateways, maintaining, and monitoring the schedule data refresh.
• Building data models and collaborate on data models/reports with business and stakeholder.
• Performance Monitoring, fine-tuning and optimization of dashboards.
• Administer the security setting to share the report using app own data (for customer) with in-house applications.
• Supporting and training team members and business analyst on self-service tools.
• At least 3-4 years of experience as a Power BI Developer.
• Experience in Power BI administration.
• Understand fundamentals of data preparation/data modelling necessary for the visualization purpose.
• Strong expertise in Designing intuitive and interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI for data driven decisions.
• Proficient in writing DAX queries.
• Experience in publishing and sharing the dashboards, scheduling data refreshes.
• Should have handled complexity around visualization or data.
• Should have strong SQL skills, Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence concepts.
• Experience with data gateways.
• Strong understanding of Power BI user and group security configuration.
• Strong understanding of Object and row level security.
• Knowledge on connecting to multiple data sources through Power BI is required.
• Should have experience in integrating Power BI reports with other applications by applying power BI embedded analytics.
• Interpret written business requirements and technical specification documents.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, and proficient verbal, and written communication skills.
• Fluent English (written, spoken) skill and other languages is a plus.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic turnaround environment.
• Proven ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously and make things happen according to plans.

• Candidate should be based in Delhi NCR
