Job Description

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in the technology field.
  • Last 4 years of experience in cyber security.
  • At least 2 years of experience in bid management (preparing proposals).
  • Experience in GCC market is a plus.
  • Must have at least 2 years playing the role of presales consultant or bid manager in one of the following companies (sorted by most wanted):
  • Deep knowledge and hand-on experience of SoC operations and SIME systems, in selection, implementation, operation and support.
  • Deep knowledge of the Security Managed Services from sales offering prospective and from operations point of view.
  • Deep understanding of cyber security standards and frameworks such as:
  • ISO 27000 series
  • NIST
  • COBIT
  • CIS Controls
  • HITRUST Common Security Framework (CSF)
  • FISMA
  • Played essential role in presales in which he/she prepared sales pitch, prepared business and technical presentation, lead technical discussions, collected requirements…etc.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the sales and tendering process in technology companies.
  • Ability to work long side partners and conduct in depth technical and scope discussion, and ability to solve issues and bridge gaps with the partners.
  • Work shoulder-to-shoulder with the cyber security technical team to define the solution and match it to the customer’s requirements, be the individual contributor in bid proposals, while ensuring alignment with client requirements, compliance with industry standards, and differentiation through innovative solutions.
  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals in response to RFP/RFI/RFQ following the standard bid management life cycle, for SOC services, Infrastructure Security services, VAPT Services, Application Security, Cloud Security services, Data Security services and Managed Security Services.
  • Develop all the required content for the proposal including but not limited to: SoW/requirements, technical write-up of the solution, product descriptions, assumptions & constraints, Bill of Martials, service model and delivery methodology, project management methodology, project timeline, commercial details, terms and conditions, team profiles, references and success stories, company profile.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to keep them abreast of industry trends and customer requirements.
  • Leverage industry knowledge and experience to define and guide the customer requirements and configuration of solutions.
  • Ability to prepare proposals, demos, presentations, and PoC (solo with minimal help)
  • Develop and implement strategic bid plans aligned with organizational objectives, leveraging your deep understanding of cybersecurity requirements and market trends.
  • Create Bid Briefs, manage Bid reviews, create workshare agreements, and scope definitions with internal and external partners.
  • Coordinate bid activities across internal teams, including sales, technical, and legal stakeholders, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality proposals.
  • Work with Cybersecurity practice in developing sales collaterals required in bid pursuits.
  • Implement robust quality assurance processes to review and refine bid documents, ensuring accuracy, coherence, and adherence to company standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the bid management process, incorporating lessons learned and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
