Section Engineer - Civil (Underground) (f/m/d)

The Role

We are seeking a Section Engineer - Underground for our Bhopal Metro project

• Supervise and monitor day-to-day construction activities for underground metro sections including tunnels, shafts, and stations.
• Ensure the implementation of the construction schedule and coordinate with planning and execution teams for timely progress.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and vendors for construction activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards at site in line with project and statutory requirements.
• Conduct inspections, review method statements and ensure implementation of approved procedures and drawings.
• Provide technical support and resolve site execution issues in coordination with the design and technical teams.
• Maintain documentation including daily progress reports, site logs, and inspection records.
• Assist in interface coordination between various packages (civil, MEP, track, signaling, etc.) for smooth integration.
• Participate in internal and external audits, safety inspections, and project reviews.
• Ensure that all activities are carried out with minimum impact on surrounding environment and urban infrastructure.
• Qualification: Diploma/Graduate in Engineering
• Minimum experience: 8+ years for Gardudates /13 years experience for Diploma holders
• Mandatory requirement - 3 years of experience in Metro rail projects
