Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CAD Engineer specializing in EDS to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of project requirements and work collaboratively to achieve deliverables. You will independently interact with engineering and supplier teams to prioritize tasks, ensuring quality and timely completion of work. A deep understanding of geometric compatibility of EDS components and the ability to analyze surrounding components for feasibility is essential.

Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CAD Engineer specializing in EDS to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of project requirements and work collaboratively to achieve deliverables. You will independently interact with engineering and supplier teams to prioritize tasks, ensuring quality and timely completion of work. A deep understanding of geometric compatibility of EDS components and the ability to analyze surrounding components for feasibility is essential.
Responsibilities
- Understand project requirements and work with the team to achieve deliverables.
- Independently interact with engineering and supplier teams to prioritize assigned tasks.
- Analyze geometric compatibility of EDS components and surrounding components for feasibility.
- Take complete ownership of tasks with minimal supervision, ensuring quality deliverables on time.
- Demonstrate hands-on expertise in low voltage and high voltage wirings.
- Understand and assess the differences in EDS wiring between client and EVs, performing feasibility checks accordingly.
- Apply technical understanding of EVs and dynamic motion requirements to feasibility assessments.
- Assess wiring retention and fixing strategies, ensuring minimum bend radius requirements from a design perspective.
- Check feasibility of connector mating requirements and use of abrasive tapes to meet environmental component requirements.
- Claim ownership in CDHR, track digital health records, and ensure 2D/3D PMI details meet the latest standards.
- Ensure part MCI completeness, CAD to BOM alignment, and CAD quality deliverables at every gateway.
- Correctly classify cross-functional or engineering issues in DPA assessments and address them in the appropriate forum for timely resolution.
- Ensure 100% buck quality of all EDS components and CAD readiness for initial P-Release.
- Hands-on experience with CATIA.
- Proficiency in Teamcenter and Vis mockup tools.
- Technical understanding of low voltage and high voltage wirings.
- Ability to perform assessments and feasibility checks for EDS wiring.
- Strong technical understanding of EVs and dynamic motion requirements.
- Proficiency in assessing wiring retention, fixing strategies, and connector mating requirements.
- Experience with MS Office tools.
