Job Description

  • Engage with business stakeholders to gather and document detailed functional requirements, identifying data transformation needs to align with business objectives and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand the business needs of private equity, investment banking, and syndicated lending operations.
  • Able to collaborate closely with technology and business teams to map, analyze, and transform data that drives business decisions and supports operational needs.
  • Work closely with IT and business teams to bridge the gap between data sources, business rules, and system requirements, ensuring that data is available for operational and strategic use.
  • Perform data analysis to support decision-making and identify anomalies and business process changes in the private equity and asset management space.
  • Develop test plans and perform business scenario validation. Assist in user acceptance testing.
  • Experience working with data transformation and migration projects in financial services and asset management platforms preferred.

Qualifications And Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration is preferred.
  • Experience as a functional business analyst in private equity, investment banking, and syndicated lending domains.
  • This resource should be well-versed in functional domain knowledge around loan servicing in private equity and syndicate lending space.
  • Hands-on experience working with applications like WSO, Allvue, and ACBS is preferred.
  • Knowledge of private equity fund administration, deal structuring, Asset management, and loan servicing.
  • Familiarity with financial products, loan structures, and private equity life cycles.
  • Good understanding of ETL processes and experience with data integration platforms. Translate the business requirements for the ETL build to the tech / IT team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for documenting and explaining data processes to technical and business teams.
