Key Responsibilities

  • Energy Management
  • Identifying and Implementing low lying fruits for energy excellence in operations.
  • Lead energy cell team for conducting detailed task specific energy assessment.
  • Lead and implement energy conservation and optimization strategies across cement, pharma, and power plant operations.
  • Conduct energy audits, monitor energy KPIs, and identify high-impact saving opportunities.
  • Develop and monitor implementation of ISO 50001 Energy Management Systems.
  • Energy Projects
  • Plan, execute, and monitor renewable energy and waste-to-energy projects.
  • Evaluate feasibility, ROI, and technical parameters for energy-efficient equipment and technologies (e.g., WHR, solar, biomass, VFDs, etc.).
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external vendors for timely and cost-effective execution.
  • Sustainability Development
  • Develop and lead corporate sustainability strategy aligned with UN SDGs and business objectives.
  • Integrate sustainability into product development, operations, and supply chain.
  • Promote circular economy principles, water stewardship, and resource efficiency.
  • ESG Reporting & Governance
  • Design and implement ESG policies, programs, and reporting frameworks.
  • Prepare ESG disclosures and sustainability reports (GRI, SASB, TCFD, BRSR).
  • Liaise with rating agencies and stakeholders for ESG assessments and benchmarking.
  • GHG Reporting and Carbon Management
  • Maintain GHG inventory using standards like GHG Protocol, ISO 14064.
  • Track and reduce Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions across facilities.
  • Drive carbon neutrality and net-zero initiatives including carbon credits and offsetting mechanisms.
  • Compliance & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Ensure compliance with local and international environmental and energy regulations.
  • Engage with regulators, industry bodies, and sustainability forums.
  • Conduct internal training and capacity building on sustainability and ESG
