Stamping NX Die Design Engineer

Job Description

Professional Exposure

• Must have NX Solid modeling & surface modeling hands on & proven skill sets. (Especially Die design using NX)
• Should have basic knowledge of AutoForm feasibility simulations
• Exposure to CAD tools such as Catia, Team Center, Team Center Vis mockup, Process Simulate and willing to learn further on virtual manufacturing tools.
• Candidate should be flexible to work in shift, if necessary
• Excellent Communication, analytical & Interpersonal skills, ability to plan, organize, and implement multiple concurrent tasks.
• Candidate should be flexible to participate tool test at GTBC campus.

Responsibilities

• Expertise in sheet metal process development, die design & simulation knowledge on Stamping core parts.
• As per Ford GPDS Program scale each gateway need to deliver multiple CAD iteration of the following activities as per Ford standards and SPL’s guidelines in Catia environment.
• NX Die Engineering - Draw/Surface development (Basic knowledge - Seed)
• NX Die Planning - 3D Process development (Basic knowledge - Seed)
• NX Die Structure Design - Die design (In depth & hands on - Master)
• Must have parametric design knowledge (Tandem & transfer lines)
• Capable of designing Std/non std cam drives suitable for the process (Mechanical, rotary etc,.)
• NX Programming - NC Model development (In depth & hands on - Master)
• NX rule or code creation and code modification for Parametric design models (Basic knowledge - Seed)
• Should have hands on experience on Class “A & B” Stamping parts Die design using NX.
