- Manages a team of quality engineering professionals to ensure the highest quality product delivery
- Line management, performance management, and professional development for those employees along with interviewing and onboarding new team members
- Responsible for development of test strategies across technology
- Works closely with cross-functional team, product owners and stakeholders as advocate for quality of technology deliverables
- Establishes and maintains functional testing standards and process according to best practices and compliance requirements
What we’re looking for
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent combination of technical education and experience
- Hands-on QA team management experience
- Consumer software QA experience, preferably in the e-Commerce space
- QA team lead/management experience
- Strong track record of creating test plans and writing test cases based on product requirements.
- Experience working closely with development and business teams to communicate problem impacts and to understand business requirements
- Self-motivated and takes initiative. Must be comfortable in a startup environment
- Experience in test automation and testing frameworks (preferred)
- Shows creativity and initiative to improve product test coverage and effectiveness (preferred)
- Comfortable communicating cross-functionally and across management levels in formal and informal settings (preferred)
- Experience with web based SAAS platforms (preferred)
- Experience with Mobile App development and Mobile App operating systems (preferred)
