Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in a sales or customer-facing role.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 7 years of experience as a partnership manager or in a similar role.
  • Experience developing and managing strategic partnerships including delivering presentations to partners and customers to convey crucial information and build excitement.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels to drive programs and products by defining requirements, organizing, planning activities, deliverables and phases, as well as managing the timeline, resources/budget, project scope, and overall risk.
  • Ability to work on their own and as part of a team in a fluid environment.

Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the global strategy and account list of strategic partners to engage, and maintain a partner ecosystem including governance and on-boarding.
  • Drive the business, forecast accurately, and operate globally for Security Ops Products markets.
  • Represent Google to the partner and the partner to Google through daily interactions, launch plans, deployment, up to the transition to Strategic Partner Manager.
  • Lead relationships with external partners/suppliers and internal stakeholders/teams to drive the best partner/supplier experience and ensure product excellence.
  • Lead partner/supplier experience to ensure agreement integration which includes facilitating and finalizing agreements, executing on account plans, pitching to partners, resolving partner/supplier issues, and advocating on behalf of partners/suppliers.
