Job Description -

We are looking for an experienced Facility Manager to oversee all building-related activities. You will be responsible for preserving the good condition of infrastructure and ensure that facilities are safe and well-functioning.

• Overseeing and agreeing contracts and providers for services including security, parking, cleaning, catering, IT, CCTV, Access System, EPABX System..
• Supervising teams of staff including cleaning, maintenance, and security.
• Ensuring that basic facilities, such as water, RO’s, DG Set, Fire Hydrant, Fire Fighting system (Panel and associated fittings) including Fire extinguisher, Air Conditioning are well-maintained.
• Managing maintenance and staffing budgets.
• Arrangement of Office Stationery for Staff
• Inspecting and repairing electrical or plumbing problems.
• Planning and coordinating all installations and refurbishments.
• Upkeeping of Office Surroundings including Garden maintenance
• Managing the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards.
• Inspecting buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations.
• Well-organized and able to optimize the use of space and equipment while reducing operating costs.
• The goal is to ensure our business’s accommodation (Crew Flat) is problem-free and safe so that employees can work under the best conditions.
• Plan and coordinate all installations (telecommunications, heat, electricity etc.) and refurbishments.
• Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards.
• Inspect buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations.
• Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs.
• Supervise all staff facilities staff (custodians, technicians, groundskeepers etc.) and external contractors!
• Control activities like parking space allocation, waste disposal, building security etc.
• Allocate office space according to needs.
• Handle insurance plans and service contracts
• Managing Travel Desk (Ticketing, Car Hire, Hotel Accommodation, VISA, FRRO registration) and other associated tasks.
• Coordination with local authority (MIDC, MSEDCL, MPCB etc)
• Any other task as assigned by Management.
  
  
  

Skills

• Proven experience as admin & facilities manager or relevant position
• Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices
• Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Good analytical/critical thinking
• Fluent in English language verbal and written.
• Excellent IT Skills (Microsoft Package)
• BSc/BA in facility management, engineering, business administration or relevant field
• Relevant professional qualification (e.g. CFM) will be an advantage.
  
  
  

HSE Responsibilities

Responsible for ensuring safety of self and others at site. Prevent damage of equipment and assets Responsible for following all safety signs/procedures/ safe working practices Responsible for using appropriate PPE’s Responsible for participating in mock drills. Entitled to refuse any to undertake any activity considered unsafe. Responsible for filling up of hazard observation card, wherever hazard has been noticed at site. Responsible for safe housekeeping of his work place. To stop any operation that is deemed unsafe To be able to operate fire extinguisher in case of fire To report an incident as soon as possible to immediate supervisor and HSE manager To complete HSE trainings as instructed to do so
