Product Manager (Remote)

BigStep is seeking an experienced Product Manager having 6+ years of experience to lead the development and execution of a cutting-edge data extraction AI/ML/Data-driven product. This role demands strong product leadership and prior experience collaborating with senior development teams to drive innovation and deliver high-impact solutions.

Shift Timings: 2 PM – 11 PM IST (to ensure a 4-hour overlap with US timezone)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and drive the product vision, roadmap, and execution plan.
• Partner with senior management, engineers, data scientists, and investment professionals to align priorities and ensure seamless execution.
• Oversee API integrations between proprietary systems and external applications, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.
• Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from discovery and ideation to release and performance measurement.
• Manage and prioritize the backlog in JIRA, facilitating sprint planning, retrospectives, and continuous iteration.
• Track and measure improvements in adoption, data quality, governance, and reporting to drive business value.
• Oversee multiple project workstreams, maintaining timelines and providing status updates to stakeholders and senior management.
  
  
  

Qualifications & Experience

• 8+ years of product management experience, preferably in data-driven products.
• Proven track record working with data science, AI, and machine learning teams.
• Deep understanding of the product development lifecycle, design principles, and data analytics.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to debate with stakeholders using data-driven insights.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA, Agile methodologies, sprint planning, and backlog management.
• Familiarity with API development and integration, guiding teams toward scalable solutions.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, working closely with data scientists and engineers.
• Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to engage a diverse range of stakeholders.
