Your Impact

OpenText is looking for strong candidates to be part of a diverse team responsible for the delivery of Quality Assurance activities of SAP team. This individual will be able to effectively interact with the end-user community to gather requirements for enhancements or identification of problems in the production environment.

What The Role Offers

• Will be involved in Quality Assurance activities on SAP SD, MM and FICO modules. Will be working on VIM process, P2P, expense management processes.
• Actively involved in performing different tests for use case scenarios new business, renewals and amendments.
• Perform Manual Testing (SIT, End-To-End, Regression testing and Integration testing) for different modules of SAP and peripheral applications like Salesforce, MDM involving Boomi.
• Work closely with design and development teams, PM, IT Operations, business leads and product owners to understand full scope of requirements and pair with developers to design and build test scripts (SIT, Regression, end-to-end, Automation scripts) ensuring code coverage and quality.
• Creating requirements traceability matrix (RTM)
• Will be involved in test case design, test script documentation and execution. Sending daily test execution reports and defect management activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop and execute test strategies.
  
  

What You Need To Succeed

• At least 3+ years of experience as Quality Assurance Engineer on SAP SD, MM and SAP O2C, FICO modules, with experience in Vendor Invoice Management and Expense Management/P2P
• Experience in writing complex test cases, Experience in understanding business processes, ability to determine the types of testing that must be conducted (i.e., functional, data validation, regression, automation), including evaluating the testability of requirements and create a comprehensive test plan that supports the business and technical solutions being delivered.
• Thorough knowledge of Software life Cycle, Test Case Life Cycle, Defect Life Cycle.
• Experience in test management tools like Octane/ALM
• Good communication, problem solving and analytical skills.
  
  

Nice To Have

• Experience in SAP Environment, Integration and API testing.
• Understanding of applications like Salesforce, Integration layers (Boomi) and application testing.
• Understanding of Test Automation core concepts. Having knowledge on different frameworks and having experience of UFT/Selenium for test execution.
• Proficiency in creation of test plan and test case documentation, test execution reporting and test closure reports.
