Accountabilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement innovative solutions, utilizing emerging technology such as AI/ML and automation to create value and support business goals.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive AI/ML, analytics, and BI strategy that aligns with the organization's overall goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the research, development, and deployment of AI/ML models to solve business problems and enhance product offerings.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to integrate AI/ML solutions into products and services, evaluate generative AI algorithms, and extract knowledge and content from unstructured data using multi-modal generative AI methods.
  • Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-level solutions using cloud-native platforms.
  • Drive the development and implementation of advanced analytics methodologies, techniques, and tools, extracting actionable insights from complex data sets to support decision-making.
  • Develop and enhance BI solutions, dashboards, and reports to provide timely and accurate information to key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with executives and cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and align data and analytics initiatives with their strategic priorities.
  • Provide strong leadership to the technology and analytics team, driving operational excellence through process improvement, effective design, and performance measurement.
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in the industry and recommend tools, platforms, and methodologies to enhance the organization's data capabilities and competitive advantage.
  • Manage and mentor a high-performing team, ensuring their professional growth and development, and oversee hiring, onboarding, and ongoing performance management.
  • Establish a collaborative and innovative work environment, adhering to relevant data privacy laws and industry regulations.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of technology leadership experience, with a strong focus on emerging technologies and business analytics and advanced knowledge of application development, data solutions, system integration development, and system implementation processes.
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or Engineering (master’s or Ph.D. preferred)
  • Strong programming skills in Python
  • Experience with cloud-based infrastructure, AI and ML platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
  • Experience leading strategic business planning for AI/ML, data science, and analytics function in a large, globally matrixed business organization.
  • Strong hands-on AI/ML modeling experience of complex datasets combined with a theoretical understanding of AI/ML.
  • Experience with natural language processing techniques and best practices.
  • Proven record of developing and implementing machine learning models in real-world applications and managing teams of machine learning engineers, BI analysts, and data scientists.
  • Experience leading teams with strong collaboration, remarkable culture, and positive working environments.
  • Experience managing enterprise data and analytics capabilities, including data management, reporting, business intelligence, and advanced analytics solutions.
  • Experience in data management, data governance, and data architecture principles, with practical experience in implementing scalable data solutions.
  • Demonstrated use of innovation in IT to support business needs with strategically measurable contributions to business results.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to think analytically, break down complex issues, and develop practical solutions.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, including experience with Agile methodologies at the enterprise scale.
  • Strong strategic mindset aligned with analytics initiatives with overall business goals, proactively involving opportunities for driving business value using data.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
