POINTO:

Pointo is India's leading energy storage tech company, revolutionizing the electric mobility sector with cutting-edge battery solutions. As we expand our footprint, we are looking for a Regional Expansion Manager – North East to drive growth, establish new Pointo centers, and lead state-wide operations.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

MARKET EXPANSION & STRATEGY:


● Identify high-potential locations for opening Pointo Centers to operate battery services.

●  Assess market demand and ensure strategic expansion in safe lending zones.

●  Build partnerships with key stakeholders, including e-rickshaw associations, financiers, and fleet operators to drive adoption.

●  Leverage existing market knowledge of the e-rickshaw segment to accelerate growth and establish a strong presence.


GOVERNMENT & ADMINISTRATIVE LIAISON:

 

●  Utilize strong connections with local authorities and administrative bodies to streamline operations.

●  Ensure compliance with state regulations and secure necessary approvals for expansion.

● Represent Pointo in discussions with government agencies and industry bodies.

 

SALES, MARKETING & COLLECTIONS:

 

● Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team for sales, marketing, and collections.

● Develop and execute strategies to boost battery leasing and adoption among e-rickshaw drivers.

● Oversee collections and risk management, ensuring smooth financial operations.


LEADERSHIP, REPORTING & OPERATION S MANAGEMENT:


● Lead state-wide operations and ensure seamless execution of business strategies.

● Prepare and present performance reports on state expansion, sales, and collections to the senior leadership team.

●  Work closely with the senior leadership team to align state growth plans with company objectives.


REQUIREMENTS:


● 5+ years of experience in e-rickshaw finance, leasing, or battery operations (market knowledge in the e-rickshaw segment is highly preferred).

● Strong network with government bodies, local administration, and industry stakeholders.

● Proven experience in market expansion, sales team management, and risk assessment.

● Ability to handle ground operations, compliance, and customer engagement.

● Strong reporting skills to track performance and communicate key insights to senior management.

● Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive to scale and lead a state-level business.
