As a growing organization, we require a dynamic General Manager to oversee Operations, Finance, HR, Admin, and other key departments, ensuring smooth business functions and long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

Day-to-Day Operations & Business Strategy

• Oversee daily operations across all departments, ensuring efficiency and alignment with business goals.
• Measure progress on revenue and expense targets for the current year and take corrective actions when necessary.
• Define and implement a 5 to 8-year growth strategy, setting long-term business goals.
• Set and manage the annual budget, ensuring financial stability and business sustainability.
• Identify opportunities for growth, optimizing operational processes for scalability.
• Establish and improve company policies and compliance frameworks.
  
  

Financial Management & Compliance

• Ensure financial planning, forecasting, and budget management to meet business objectives.
• Monitor cash flow, revenue, and expenses, implementing strategies to optimize financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with local laws, including tax return filing, audits, labor laws, and corporate regulations (POSH, Companies Act, etc.).
• Finalize appraisals, bonuses, and increments, ensuring fair and transparent compensation practices.
• Negotiate and approve contracts and agreements to safeguard company interests.
  
  

Talent & Resource Management

• Oversee staffing strategies, including workforce planning and overall resource allocation.
• Collaborate with the Head of HR to ensure effective talent management, while delegating HR-related strategic decisions.
• Ensure that hiring and resource planning align with business needs while supporting cross-studio workforce optimization.
• Support the HR team in maintaining a positive work culture and addressing high-level escalations, if required.
  
  

Stakeholder & Client Management

• Act as a key liaison between leadership, employees, and external stakeholders.
• Ensure customer satisfaction, managing relationships with key clients.
• Collaborate with partners, investors, and vendors to drive business growth.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies aligned with product-specific goals.
  
  

Company Growth & Expansion

• Lead expansion plans, ensuring smooth execution of the company’s start-up and growth strategies.
• Identify new business opportunities and revenue streams.
• Optimize operational processes and organizational structure to support business expansion.
  
  

Administration & Legal Compliance

• Oversee office administration, facility management, and IT infrastructure.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, local laws, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead crisis management, risk assessment, and business continuity planning.
  
  

Key Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

• 18 to 25 years of experience in operations & finance, with minimum 8 years into general management roles, preferably in the gaming, IT, or creative industry.
• Strong expertise in financial management, compliance, and strategic planning.
• Experience in managing multi-functional teams and cross-studio resource planning.
• Hands-on experience with policies, governance, and regulatory frameworks.
• Proven ability to negotiate contracts, handle workforce planning, and lead business growth.
