Introduction
We are seeking a Spare Parts Catalog Engineer to join the Technical Information Team in Vadodara, India. In this role, you will be responsible for managing spare parts data, creating and maintaining spare parts catalogs, and ensuring the accuracy of technical documentation to support global engineering, procurement, and aftermarket operations. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure high-quality spare parts information is available for service teams and customers.
In this position, you will report to the Deputy Manager of Technical Information Team and collaborate with cross-functional teams worldwide.
This position is based in Vadodara, Gujarat, India, with occasional travel (up to 10%) as required.

What You’ll Do
- Create and maintain spare parts catalogs to support global business lines.
- Extract and process spare parts data from PDM systems (e.g., Enovia, Teamcenter) into catalog tools.
- Develop spare parts illustrations from manufacturing drawings or create new visuals from scratch.
- Publish spare parts books and updates in catalog libraries and generate offline versions when needed.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in spare parts documentation to enhance usability.
- Provide technical information support for internal teams, including engineering, procurement, and aftermarket services.
- Participate in system development initiatives to improve spare parts catalog tools and processes.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including engineers, suppliers, and service teams.
- Provide back-office support for technical and on-site support teams.
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in spare parts management, technical documentation, or a related role.
- Experience working with spare parts and engineering data.
- Strong proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, NX-CAD preferred).
- Hands-on experience with Rapid Catalogue, Rapid Illustrator, Rapid Generator, and Cortona 3D.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and documentation-specific tools.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, with strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality outputs.
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills in a global work environment.
- Fluent in spoken and written English, with experience collaborating with European teams.
