Job Summary

Modmacon is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented QA Analyst to join our dynamic team in ensuring the highest quality standards for our gaming projects. As a QA Analyst, you will play a critical role in testing and validating 3D assets, tracking bugs, and enhancing the efficiency of our QA processes. You will work closely with the Art and Development teams to ensure that technical requirements and artistic assets meet the highest standards before being integrated into the game.

Key Responsibilities

• Bug Reporting & Tracking
  
  

Report, track, and manage bugs through the entire development cycle. Perform regressions and ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner.

• QA Process Documentation
  
  

Document and maintain QA processes and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency in testing practices.

• Collaboration with Art Teams
  
  

Work closely with the Art teams on the content they create, ensuring the technical and visual aspects align with the project’s standards.

• Testing 3D Assets
  
  

Test 3D assets in various stages of creation, ensuring they meet technical requirements, including modeling practices, polycount, naming conventions, and overall quality.

• In-Game Testing
  
  

Perform in-game testing to verify that 3D assets function correctly within the game environment and provide an optimal user experience.

• Identify Process Improvements
  
  

Identify areas of improvement within the QA process to enhance both efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

• Proven experience in QA or testing roles, preferably in the gaming industry.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and report the smallest issues.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
• Some knowledge or experience with the 3D art pipeline and asset creation.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Fluent in English, with excellent spoken and written communication skills.
• A strong focus on quality and delivering accurate results.
