Job Purpose

The role entails handling of operational activities and requirements pertaining to TRAI Regulations and TTOs (tariff orders). The role assumes importance given the enhanced focus and rigor of TRAI on the operational aspects.

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities

  • Take hold of all Day-to-day operational emails from TRAI and providing them with timely information/response after internal coordination .
  • Take lead on Tariff filings to TRAI and maintain proper updated records for the company, at all times.
  • Maintain and provide Statistical analysis of Industry’s key metrics, thereby keeping internal colleagues informed and assisting them to take decisions supported by data.
  • Handle Compliance verification Checklist (CVC) and o btain compliances from circles and/or corporate teams on a quarterly basis. Do detailed assessment of the compliance status received and raise suitable flags requiring attention of compliance owners. Maintain suitable and updated records of CVC checklists received from Circle/Corporate, from Governance perspective.
  • Develop and maintain a MIS and Tracker for Compliances of existing and new Regulations/TTOs.
  • Conduct Research on Operational matters thereby assisting formulation of best Practices/processes, with artifacts of other sectors.


Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience

  • Excellent MS-office, Excel and Presentation skills
  • D ata analytical skills. Should be able to correlate different data points and raise suitable flags as need be.
  • Research aptitude
  • Self-initiator


Must Have Technical / Professional Qualifications

  • Minimum Graduate.
  • Professional Degree/Diploma/Program related to Law, Management, Policy would be given preference.


Years Of Experience

  • Minimum 4 years of experience of working in Regulatory/Public Policy/Legal function of any repute organisation.
  • Minimum 6 years overall for an established and reputed organisation.
