Role Description
We are seeking highly motivated intern to join our AI team and contribute to innovative projects in arthroscopy, surgical navigation, medical imaging AI, and computational geometry. Intern will gain practical experience working on advanced computer vision, machine learning, and 3D modelling techniques, applying these to solve real-world healthcare challenges.

Engineering, or related).

Intern will gain practical experience working on advanced computer vision, machine learning, and 3D modelling techniques, applying these to solve real-world healthcare challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement computer vision algorithms for medical image analysis including detection, segmentation, and tracking.
- Assist in developing 3D reconstruction and visualization techniques using computational geometry and statistical shape modelling.
- Explore and utilize packages like VTK, Open3D, or similar libraries to handle medical imaging data (meshes, voxel data, etc.).
- Perform experiments on multimodal medical imaging data and evaluate algorithmic performance.
- Stay updated with the latest research advancements in AI, computer vision, and medical imaging.
- Collaborate with senior scientists, engineers, and clinicians to ensure solutions align with clinical requirements.
Primary Skills
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with computer vision libraries (OpenCV, VTK, Open3D).
- Understanding of first principles of computer vision techniques (feature extraction, image segmentation, multi-view geometry).
- Knowledge of 3D data structures and visualization (meshes, voxels, point clouds).
- Advanced familiarity with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow or PyTorch) and low level mathematical implementations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with enthusiasm for healthcare technology.
- Prior experience or projects in medical imaging or healthcare applications.
- Knowledge of medical imaging modalities (CT, MRI, X-ray).
- Familiarity with multimodal image registration and fusion techniques.
- Knowledge in Robotics and navigation systems.
- Knowledge in Endoscopic imaging and MIS.
