This role is based in Mumbai / Gurgaon/ Bangalore, where you’ll get the chance to work with teams impacting entire cities, countries – and the shape of things to come.
Responsibilities:
- Lead complex power system studies using PSSE and PSCAD
- Oversee grid integration studies for renewable energy projects
- Manage multiple grid connection projects simultaneously
- Lead a team of 4-6 power system engineers
- Interface with clients, utilities, and regulatory bodies
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards
- Insulation coordination studies
- Switching transient analysis
- Harmonic studies
- Protection coordination
- Grid compliance studies in PSSE and PSCAD
- System stability assessments
- Technical reports
- Client presentations
- Design recommendations
- Grid code compliance documentation
- Team performance metrics
- BE/M.Tech/MS Electrical Engineer
- Experience of around 8-10 years
- Knowledge of various IEC and ANSI standards for power system studies
- Specific experience of power system analysis tools PSCAD and PSSE
- Advanced knowledge of:
- Dynamic stability analysis
- Short circuit calculations
- Frequency response
- Grid code compliance
- EMT simulations
- Renewable integration
- Python scripting
