Our Procurement team is expanding and we’re looking for a Procurement Data Analyst to join our vast community of solvers. The Procurement team brings our purpose to life by being supplier engagement role models for the firm through strategic and agile procurement. We live our purpose and values, leveraging our differences and expertise when it comes to developing and implementing sourcing strategies, supplier relationship management programs, and driving supplier governance and reporting activities. We identify, mitigate, and escalate commercial risks and align with the firm’s social impact goals.

You’ll help solve complex problems by using your skills in:

  • Your proven experience as a data analyst or similar role.
  • Your proficiency in data analytics tools such as Alteryx and Power BI.
  • Your familiarity with AI and machine learning techniques and their application in procurement.
  • Data modeling and statistical analysis.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Communication and presentation skills.
  • Your ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Your knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain management is desirable.

In our Procurement team, your impact will be seen by:

  • Analyzing procurement data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
  • Developing and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to provide real-time insights to stakeholders.
  • Utilizing Alteryx for data preparation, blending, and advanced analytics to support procurement initiatives.
  • Implementing AI and machine learning models to forecast demand, assess supplier performance, and optimize procurement processes.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including commercial procurement, risk operations, governance procurement, and ESG for procurement, to understand business requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
  • Conducting data modeling to support scenario analysis and strategic planning for procurement activities.
  • Ensuring data accuracy and integrity by implementing robust data governance practices.
  • Communicating complex data insights in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Working autonomously and demonstrating critical thinking to solve complex problems with minimal guidance.
  • Continuously seeking opportunities to enhance data analytics capabilities and stay updated with industry trends and technologies.

Ideal Experience & Delivered Performance

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus
  • Experience with data visualisation tools (PowerBI / Tableau), including data transformation (Power Query / Alteryx), and creating visuals and reports
  • Advanced systems experience e.g. Google Suite and Microsoft Office applications (Inc. Excel, PowerPoint, Think cell)
  • Demonstrated commercial analysis experience with a strong focus on outcomes at a strategic level
  • Advanced understanding of spend analytics including spend classification and categorisation
  • Detailed requirements gathering and validation with strong documentation skills
  • An innovative mindset to continue to transform analytics and reporting landscapes
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills – creatively solve complex issues
  • Good stakeholder engagement skills – collaborate and communicate effectively with a diverse client group
  • A result focussed attitude with the ability to meet project / activity deliverables and timelines
  • A strong understanding of customer experience and customer centricity principles
