Key Responsibilities
- Assist in processing purchase orders and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
- Communicate with suppliers to obtain product information, such as price, availability, and delivery schedule. Assist in evaluating and selecting vendors.
- Help monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the store to ensure stock availability.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data. Ensure all documentation is filed appropriately and accessible.
- Enter purchase orders, invoices, and other related data into the company's SAP system.
- Assist in negotiating prices and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
- Ensure that purchased products and services meet the specified quality and standards.
- Prepare regular reports on purchase activities, including spending analysis and vendor performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement processes, and relevant regulations.
- Provide administrative support to the purchasing department, including scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and handling correspondence.
- Assist in resolving any issues related to purchase orders, deliveries, or payments.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and products, and stay updated on industry trends.
