- Front line sales activity – Visiting customers for generation of Inquiries. Responsible for Food & Beverages sales pan India Cluster (Mainly Food)
- Business Development for Relevant GEA Technologies in Food Industry
- Generating Revenue of about 5 Mn Euro Per Annum
- Technology Presentation to the Customer
- Screening of generated/received inquiries for Bid/no bid decision.
- Entering the project inquiry details into the CRM
- Co-ordination with Sales support team and with customers to get clear understanding of the requirement,
- Preparation of risk reports for projects
- Preparation of the commercial offer in line with GEA standard T&C’s, Compiling of the techno-commercial offer and submission to the customer
- Participation in customer meetings for Prebid discussions, customer presentations, post bid clarifications, contract negotiation meetings
- Post Order activities – arranging ABG, performance security as part of contractual obligations for availing advance, Work order, Project hand over meeting, change orders, collection of BG’s submitted towards EMD
- Bachelor/Master’s degree of Chemical engineering (preferable)/Food Engineering
- Experience of working for 10+ yrs. in relevant field
- Prior experience of front sales
- Process & Industry Knowledge is must
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
- Strong communication skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to carry people.
- Technical knowhow, and end-to-end process expertise.
- Open minded to new models, ideas and innovation
