Monitor the availability & proper maintenance planning of Wagon tippler, Side Arm Charger, Apron feeder, Diverter Gate, EOTs & its auxiliaries.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure availability of WTs for timely handling of rakes to avoid demurrages (penalties).
- Carry out proper monitoring of Equipment to reduce downtime & operational cost.
- Preparation of breakdown history of equipment & Condition Monitoring Status.
- Develop vendor required for purchases related to maintenance.
- Monitor the availability of inventory of all critical spares.
- Ensure 100% safety at the site during maintenance.
- Ensure modifications at the site for reliable, efficient & safe operation
- Ensure 100% availability & proper maintenance planning of Wagon tippler, Side Arm Charger, Apron feeder, Diverter Gate, EOTs & its auxiliaries to unload coal racks.
- Indent material & services planned before the start of every Financial Year.
- Carry out planning & overhauling, preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, proactive maintenance of all Equipment along with spares.
- Ensure the least possible time to attend to any breakdown.
- Ensure maintenance of tools & plants along with spares.
- Assign required training to subordinates, GETs.
