Our Context
We are looking for a proactive and organized PMO Manager to join our fast-paced Fintech Product Organization. This role will be pivotal in driving delivery governance, ensuring smooth coordination between cross-functional teams, and keeping leadership, engineering, product, and client-facing teams aligned on release content, timelines, risks, and dependencies. The ideal candidate will also lead and facilitate our PI Planning process to ensure streamlined execution across all product development teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Governance & Tracking
- Establish and manage project governance processes across product releases.
- Track and monitor project and release metrics, including sprint progress, delivery timelines, quality metrics, and risks.
- Maintain a centralized view of all product deliveries, ensuring visibility into progress, blockers, dependencies, and cross-team coordination needs.
- Maintain dashboards and track KPIs for delivery, quality, and team velocity.
Cross-functional Coordination
- Act as the central liaison between Product Management, Engineering, QA, DevOps, and Client-facing teams to ensure alignment on release content and schedules.
- Organize regular sync-up meetings to track progress, flag risks, and escalate issues when necessary.
Risk Management & Escalations
- Identify potential risks and dependenciesearly and facilitate risk mitigation planning.
- Proactively flag risks to leadership and drive resolution in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
PI Planning & Agile Coordination
- Plan, facilitate and run PI Planning sessions(Program Increment Planning) across all Scrum teams.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Scrum Masters, and Engineering Leads to define team objectives, dependencies, and milestones for each PI.
- Track and monitor delivery progress against PI commitments.
Release & Change Management
- Ensure release scope is base-lined, and any changes are documented and approved.
- Own and publish a release calendar to provide visibility to all stakeholders.
- Ensure all teams adhere to the defined release process, including release documentation, deployment planning, and post-release retrospectives.
Reporting & Communication
- Prepare and circulate weekly, monthly, and quarterly status reports for leadership and external stakeholders.
- Develop dashboards and reports for real-time tracking of project health, risks, and milestones.
- Summarize key decisions, blockers, and next steps after major planning or review sessions.
PROFILE
- Strong understanding of Agile processes (Scrum, SAFe) and delivery governance in a product environment.
- Experience in tracking and managing product development metrics across teams
- Stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage with leadership, product, engineering, and client-facing teams.
- Strong risk management and escalation handling skills.
- Experience facilitating and running PI Planning sessions.
- Proficiency with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Excel, and similar project tracking and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Engineering degree or equivalent.
