Who You’ll Work With

They’re integral to how we win and deliver results to our clients and are a key strategic priority within our firm. Operations roles are critical in helping to drive and measure the strategic direction and operations of a practice.

Bain & Company is the leading consulting partner to the Private Equity industry and its stakeholders. Our Private Equity Practice is a scale and high-growth part of Bain’s business. We support investor clients to drive their own businesses, make the right investment decisions, and create value in their portfolio businesses (by interlocking with all of Bain).

You will focus on scaling our Private Equity business in near-in adjacencies (to our core buyout business), including coverage of institutional investors and sovereign wealth funds, family offices, and infrastructure investors.

    • Build and maintain key points-of-view, intellectual property and credentials for our near-in adjacencies. Be a key thought-partner leveraging a deep understanding of market trends, active investors, potential deal pipeline, and deal dynamics
    • Proactively develop and maintain selling collateral for near-in commercial opportunities; organize and mobilize our affiliates and experts to maximize commercial outcomes
    • Provide critical link to other capability and industry experts to enable integrated diligence and post-acquisition work
    • Support PEG Marketing with publications and media requests
  • Coordination and communication:
    • Help to ensure coordination across practice, regions, and capability interlocks
