About the Job:

Outdo is hiring on behalf of StockGro, India’s leading social investment platform, to bring on board a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer. In this role, you’ll be working from StockGro’s Ahmedabad office, contributing to a mobile-first, cross-platform Fintech product designed to empower over 25 million users in the art of trading and investment through a gamified, risk-free environment.

As a QA Engineer for StockGro, you’ll collaborate closely with engineering teams to enhance user experience and ensure the highest standards of product quality in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze system specifications.
• Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective test strategies and plans.
• Execute test cases, focusing on automation, and analyze results.
• Evaluate product code against specifications.
• Create comprehensive logs to document testing phases and defects.
• Report bugs and errors to development teams.
• Assist in troubleshooting issues.
• Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Requirements and Skills:

• Proven experience of 6+ years as a Quality Assurance Engineer.
• Proficiency in project management and QA methodology.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus.
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
• Strong working knowledge of test management software (e.g., qTest, Zephyr) and SQL.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities.

• The ideal candidate should be a quick learner who can work independently in a fast-paced environment where time-to-ship products are critical. Automation skills are highly emphasized.

It will be a 2/3 round interview process.
