Role Overview:

   

We are looking for a Contract Executive to join our team. This role is important for helping manage contracts, such as loans, investments, and other agreements as per regulations of regulator  IFSCA, RBI, SEBI. You will work closely with different finance teams to make sure all details of contracts are precise and meet advice of legal, compliance, business, accounting departments. Your main job will be to support in preparing, reviewing, and keeping track of contracts for the company.


Key Responsibilities:  


  • Contract Preparation and Review: Work with lawyers, managers on drafting contracts. Reviewing, and checking different versions and types of contracts like loan agreements, investment contracts, and other financial agreements. Make sure contracts have all inputs from various professionals and departments so they follow company rules and the law.
  • Due Diligence and Compliance: Check contracts for risks and make sure they follow all laws and company rules.
  • Stakeholder Management: Work with different teams inside the company (Finance, Legal, Compliance) and with external parties (other companies, lawyers, regulators) to manage contracts.
  • Documentation and Record Keeping: Keep accurate records of all contracts. Make sure records are organized and easy to find.
  • Cost Tracking and Budgeting: Help track project costs and budgets related to contracts.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Create simple reports to show the status of contracts. Help analyze contract data to find any issues or areas that need improvement.
  • Contract Amendments and Renewals: Keep track of important contract dates and help with any changes or renewals needed.
  • Process Improvement: Suggest ways to improve how we manage contracts and help develop better ways to handle them.
  • Project management: Manage all tasks in a Project Management System


Qualifications and Experience:   


  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: Min 3 years but preferable 5 years of experience in handling contracts. Experience in finance, real estate, or NBFC is a plus.


Skills:


  • Basic understanding of contract laws and financial terms.
  • Good communication skills (writing and speaking).
  • Strong attention to detail and organization.
  • Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
