Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced BD Manager with 12 to 16 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MS Office and domain expertise in Payer. This hybrid role requires a proactive individual who can drive business development initiatives and contribute to our companys growth. The resource must have experience in market research RFP / RFI ability to meet customers (if required).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company goals and objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Payer domain to expand our market presence.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and clients to ensure long-term partnerships.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver compelling proposals and presentations.
  • Oversee the entire sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on business development activities and progress to senior management.
  • Utilize MS Office tools to create detailed business plans reports and presentations.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all business development activities.
  • Participate in industry events and conferences to network and promote the companys offerings.
  • Train and mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in business development.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize business development processes and outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Must have a minimum of 12 years of experience in business development with a focus on the Payer domain.
  • Must possess advanced proficiency in MS Office tools including Excel PowerPoint and Word.
  • Should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and stakeholders.
  • Must be able to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work model.
  • Should have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and address business challenges.
  • Must be detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Should have a proven track record of achieving business development targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Must be adaptable to changing market conditions and able to pivot strategies as needed.
  • Should have a strong understanding of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Must be proactive and self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
  • Should have experience in preparing and delivering high-quality business proposals and presentations.
  • Must be able to provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
  • Should have a passion for continuous learning and professional development.
