Job Description

Role

We are seeking a WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development and management of our WordPress-based projects.

You will work closely with our design and content teams to create high-quality, user-friendly websites for our clients.

Responsibilities & Strategy

• Lead a team of WordPress developers, providing guidance and mentorship.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define website architecture and overall strategy.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
  
  

Development & Maintenance

• Develop and maintain high-quality WordPress websites.
• Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
• Optimize website performance, scalability, and security.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
  
  

Project Management

• Oversee multiple projects from conception to completion.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
• Communicate with stakeholders to provide project updates and gather feedback.
  
  

Quality Assurance

• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Test websites across browsers, operating systems, and devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to WordPress development.
  
  

Training & Development

• Keep the team informed about new WordPress features and best practices.
• Encourage continuous learning and professional development within the team.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Knowledge & experience in Craft CMS is preferable.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in WordPress development.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience with PHP back-end development.
• Familiarity with responsive and adaptive design principles.
• Strong understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
• Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF).
• Knowledge of SEO principles.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with version control tools like Git.
