Job Summary

This position is for a Full Stack Developer responsible for the successful delivery of ACENTRA’s technology initiatives in a multi-Cloud platform. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable software systems for several customer-facing projects and internal tools within the healthcare industry. You will play a crucial part in transforming requirements into fully functional applications with a firm understanding of APIs, web frameworks, databases, and back-end languages. The ideal candidate has experience building products across the stack, an ownership mindset for end-to-end projects, and a passion for delivering amazing experiences to global users and measurable business growth.

Responsibilities

• Work across the full stack, building highly scalable distributed solutions with data from various sources, such as user input, APIs, and databases
• Develop new features and infrastructure to support evolving project requirements and business needs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including subject matter experts, analysts, and engineers, to define software requirements and ensure applications meet the needs of users and business initiatives
• Design and implement front-end website architecture and back-end server-side logic, enabling comprehensive and holistic functionality
• Implement software governance practices and ensure compliance with software standards, regulations, security protocols, and healthcare compliance including HIPAA and GDPR.
• Monitor and troubleshoot application and server performance, identifying and addressing bottlenecks, and ensuring optimal system performance and application availability
• Work with agile development methodologies, adhering to known best practices to ensure application performance and uptime.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and software standards to drive innovation and ensure compliance
  
  

Requirements

• 4+ years strong programming skills in languages such as JavaScript, Java, Ruby, React or .NET
• Hands on experience with front-end frameworks, such as Angular, React, or Vue.js, and back-end frameworks, such as Express.js, Django, or ASP.NET Core
• Hands on experience with database systems, both SQL (like PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (like MongoDB)
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and containerization technologies (like Docker)
• Hands on experience with RESTful API design and development
• Working knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and related services (e.g., EC2, Azure Functions, Cloud Functions)
• Knowledge of unit/integration testing and strong debugging and optimization skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams to create reliable web apps and APIs
  
  

Education

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role with a focus on web application development.
