Job Title: Upper Body Structures Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Upper Body Structures Engineer with excellent hands-on experience in CAD (Catia V5 - Part modeling/GSD/drafting) and knowledge of Teamcenter/Vismockup. The candidate will take ownership of the design and development process of BIW parts from concept to final design, ensuring all design requirements are met within the timeline. You will be responsible for conducting design reviews and technical reviews with a cross-functional team on commodities, and must possess sound knowledge in manufacturing feasibility, packaging study, and attachment feasibility.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership in the design and development process of BIW parts from concept to final design as per the design requirements within the timeline.
• Conduct design reviews and technical reviews with a cross-functional team on commodities.
• Ensure manufacturing feasibility, packaging study, and attachment feasibility.
• Collaborate and maintain strong communication with Engineers, Suppliers, and Customers from different regions.
• Promote and maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive work environment.
  
  

Essential Skills

• Excellent hands-on experience in CAD (Catia V5 - Part modeling/GSD/drafting).
• Knowledge of Teamcenter/Vismockup.
• Strong knowledge in BIW and upper body structures.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Team player with good customer cross-functional relationships.
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic.
• Experience in 3DX is an added advantage.
