Key Responsibilities

  • Write clear, engaging, and SEO-friendly copy for websites, blogs, email newsletters, social media, product descriptions, and more
  • Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, grammar, and consistency
  • Collaborate with marketing, design, and product teams to align content with brand messaging and goals
  • Optimize content using relevant keywords and SEO best practices
  • Conduct content audits and update existing content for improved performance
  • Stay up to date with content trends, digital marketing strategies, and audience preferences
  • Work on blogging for a gemstones and jewelry website
  • Create content and graphics from a search engine optimization perspective
  • Work on YouTube content marketing
  • Create jewelry tips and hacks, blog posts, and guest posts
  • Write Quora content to drive traffic and engagement
  • Create Instagram-related stories, captions, guides, and other content

Requirements

  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Strong research and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with SEO tools and practices such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Yoast
  • CMS experience with platforms like WordPress and HubSpot
  • Understanding of content marketing and social media strategies
  • Ability to write for different formats such as blog posts, whitepapers, and ads

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, marketing, communications, or a related field
  • 1+ years of experience in content writing, copywriting, or a similar role
  • Portfolio of published content across various formats
